DESIGNING THE FARMLINK BRAND


When COVID-19 closed our restaurants and businesses, millions of pounds of produce were left to rot on farms. Meanwhile, unemployment added mile-long lines at food banks across the country. In the face of such contradiction, students from across the country got together and called hundreds of food banks and farms. Farmlink was born, and within its founding months, I joined to develop its website and brand. Four years later, Farmlink is the fastest growing food rescue org in America, featured in notable publications such as NYT, The Washington Post, ABC news, and many more.

An inside look at Farmlink's operations, our goal was to give an honest and transparent look into our Re-Harvest Program, where we cover the labor and transportation cost of surplus produce and redirected it to local Fresno County foodbanks.

We are proud to call Chipotle one of our most impactful supporters. We've raised over $3,000,000 through three national round-up campaigns and activations, plus joining forces to bring food to disaster-stricken communities including those impacted by Hurricane Ian and Winter Storm Uri.

Farmlink documentary movie poster & screening

MOVIE POSTER

This 20 minute short documentary tells the story of how a group of college students stepped up to end hunger while protecting the planet. Working with our talented Film Director, Owen Dubeck, we designed a movie poster for national screening events, notably at Capitol Hill and and Climate Week, NYC.

Metallica x farmlink

Metallica’s foundation, All Within My Hands, selected Farmlink as its 2023 Month of Giving recipients. Fans from across the world supported the cause through individual donations, merchandise, auctions, sweepstakes, and by spreading the word! This campaign raised $200,000, with generous gift matches from Carhartt and other companies. This was promoted through consistent social media postings, newsletters, a landing page, and a video compilation of Farmlinkers.
